How much money would I make if I bought some stuff at a store called five below and sold it on eBay?
I want to make some money to go to a camp you might of saw my question (I am 13 is it possible to make 5000$ in 255 days?) I got a sugsetion to buy some cool cheap things and sell them on ebay. I just want to know if I will make any money if so how much? Thanks for your help!
sorry, but you will probably not make $5000 selling stuff from a discount store like that. the problem is, most people go on ebay for just a couple of things.
1. looking for something rare/obscure/hard to find
2. looking for something cheap/used
selling people stuff that is only worth 5 dollars is going to be hard. and since you could only mark it up (sell it for more than it cost you) a couple of dollars, it would take many sales to make $5000. Honestly, starting a lemonade stand would make more sense. Since you are 13, most likely within the next year you will be able to get a job getting minimum wage and you might be able to approach $5000.

Ways in which I can make money.
You are in the same situation as many others. I have neighbors who have been looking for a job for over 8 months and have either lost or are about to lose their unemployment benefits. Here are some of the things they are doing to raise some cash. Have a garage sale and sell whatever you have that you no longer need, want or are using. Offer your services. I have one neighbor who cleans homes, one who has done yard work, one who runs errands, one who does handyman repairs, one who paints homes inside and outside, one who walks my dogs and will house sit when we’re out of town, one who helped cater an event and one who even "rents" out her table linens, crystal, china and silver service. Oh yeah, one neighbor has chickens and sells the eggs, one grows citrus and avocado and sells those at a roadside stand. Hope one of these ideas will apply to your situation. Good luck!

I am not on assistance right now but might need to soon because my husband is leaving me and 2yr old son. How much money can you make and still get food stamps, wic and title 19? We have never been on this before.
In indiana you can make 1300 before taxes and qualify for any assistance. It depends on dollar for dollar wahat you make. When I made 250 a week I got 76 a month. when I mad 200 a week I got 146. They put it in the computer. and give you a number. That is at least what they tell you.
WIC you can make a lot more and qualify. People on food stamps automatically qualify.
There is medicaid, in with the food stamps… that is free insurance for kids.
If you dont have insurance, try the hospitals around you and ask if they have discounted services or a sliding fee scale.
There is Section 8 which most of the time has a long waiting list… Try in house section 8. That is when apartments host there own section 8 and the waiting list may be weeks or months instead of years…
The phone companies over a service called lifeline… that is where you get your phone connected for free and get the tax taken off your phone bill… Call phone company for info…
There is also something called CCDF… that is free child care at licensed day cares as long as you work or are in school.
And try State colleges, most of them if you apply for pell grants make it to where you can go for free… actually get paid to go…
Some childrens musuems over discount programs
SOme YMCA over discounts on monthly membership… For my family we go for 20 a month.. and get 50% off sports…
At Christmas, lots of Churches will help with presents for children and food.
Some states have a phonenumber you can call to ask for referrals.. If there is a crisis pregnancy center by you, they should have a list of places that help.
There are lots out there you just have to research. When you go for your food stamps appointment ask where you can go for help.

I would like to be a book editor when I graduate from college, but I was wondering how much money do book editors make on average? I’m asking because I want to be able to live pretty comfortably (a nice house/appartment, food, heating, pets, etc) on my own, and I want to know if I would have enough money to do that. Also, should I major in English? I know that sounds like a stupid question, but is it usually required that the person wanting to be a book editor majored in English? Thank you!

I know this couple that started a business of vending machines and small coin machines , they are well off now, for real! Have two homes, drive great cars and travel everywhere. They live in Texas and worked this business for almost 6 years, worked real hard too.
They have two other businesses now, but they started with coin and vending machines..Good luck.
